I get to this foreign error page. What does it say?"This site is temporarily unavailable! The web site you are trying to access has exceeded its allocated data transfer. Access to this site will be restored within an hour. Please try again later" Why do I end up on this website?Since this website is located on the German version of Geocities, this page is, of course, in German. You might encounter it while browsing the galleries and most likely with the pictures in Galleries Part I as well as the Wallpaper and Fan Art sections. This happens when too many people access too many pictures during a certain time span, which occurs quite often with the publicly available galleries. What can I do in case this happens? Therefore links are most likely NOT broken. If it happens that you get this error page during multiple tries, please contact me. Otherwise, please just try again later.
Why do I need a Login to enter?Because this way I ensure some feedback and keep the site reserved to people who are really interested, thus reducing the "coming, downloading, leaving" mentality. Why haven't I received an answer to my login request? There can be two reasons: 1. You sent the eMail less than a week ago (usually it takes me longer than that to answer). 2. You did not pay much attention to the Notes I wrote. What can I do in case I receive no answer?Send another eMail a while later and pay attention to the notes. DON'T spam me with multiple requests within a short time, cause that will neither help your chances for a login, nor does it speed up the process. Why isn't the Login working?Either you spelled it wrong or you're probably using an older login, which I have disabled. This will occur with logins that are more than a year old.
Do you know how to contact Karen? No, I do not know Karen. But if you have an important and serious question and if you post it in the Forum, where somebody might forward it to her. How many people work on this website? The website itself is a one-person-project, which means it's just me working on the site's structure, appearance and uploading the content. However, there have been, and still are, a number of dedicated fans who help me out, especially with the content. So, I create the foundation, but the fan community (at least the more active part of it) helps with most of the content. Will there be further fan pages about other playmates?Maybe. The fan page for Karen McDougal takes most of my time and effort. I once started a page for Lisa Dergan, but after very little response I focused again on Karen McDougal. Fortunately, I made a second try at starting another fan page for Shannon Stewart, which seemed to be a little more worthwhile than Lisa's. Will I start another one? That'll depend on my time and how much there is left to do on the existing pages. And last but not least, if you think about starting a fan page yourself, then I'll try to help out. With the stuff behind the scenes, structure, hints and ideas. Why are the pictures numbered so oddly?First of all, I tried to bring galleries and sets into a specific order. Sometimes that was based on existing sets, sometimes I made up an order that might get closest to a real scene like a slide show. Instead of just sorting the pictures and images within the presenting gallery, I wanted to sort them on the basis of their file names as well. That way, you will have the same order on the website as in your local folders. So, when I create a gallery I sort all pictures and number them consecutively, usually with two digits. But later when I had to add pictures, which I had received from other fans, it was necessary to insert them somehow into the existing order. That's why I started with adding an additional number to the file name, after which the new picture was meant to appear. The result is unfortunately a less consistent, yet order-sustaining numbering system of all of the files. For example: "karen_c2_04.jpg", "karen_c2_05.jpg", "karen_c2_052.jpg", "karen_c2_06.jpg", etc...
