The Contest is officially over. Even though I concluded the poll last week already I couldn't make it to work on the result yet. HUGE thanks to all the contestants and they are propably dying to get their prize *smiles*.

Every contestant gets one of Pete's wallpapers of their choice (resolution : 1024x768), personalized with a didication to their participation and the place they achieved.

May 11th, CONTESTANTS :

In the following you find the Artworks 4 contestants sent in for the Creativity Contest. I'll start a poll in the group to let all fans decide about which the best wallpaper is. That would be interesting to know for sure. And in case you are still working on one, don't hesitate to send it in as well.

May 1st, UPDATE :

The Creativity Contest did not bring much response yet. So there will hopefully come up some more participants until May 5th. Then I'll decide wheather to meet the deadline or to set a later deadline (maybe a few more weeks).

On May 5th, I'll join the Chat in the KarenMcDougalForever Yahoo Group. So if you are interested, please come by. I'll be glad to answer all your questions.

April 15th :

On May 5th this page will exist for one awesome year. One year of amazing progress, a year of many fans encouragement and support, of huge steps towards the most complete collection on the web.

For this occasion Pete came up with a great idea. A creativity contest. Everybody can take part. The best Creations will be honored with one of Pete's Wallpapers in their original full dimension of 1024x768.

But how do you take part? What kind of creations are asked for?

1. design a side picture to frame the page to the right
2. create a fanart
3. compose a wallpaper
4. ...

These are first thoughts. I'm not sure yet about various details like what to value about the creations, how to rate them (via poll in the groups or by myself) and which of Pete's wallpapers to choose (free choice or a specified one).

In any case it is definitely worth trying.
