Something about me
I was born in Gary, Indiana, March 23, 1971 and moved to the small
town of Sawyer, Michigan in the 4th grade. My mom raised 2 girls
and 3 boys all by herself. In high school I played the clarinet
in the band and was a cheerleader and in the colorguard all 4 years.
After graduating from high school in '89, I attended Ferris State
University, majoring in Elementary Education. Then, I took a job
teaching pre-kindergarten in a Detroit suburb.
One day a friend convinced me to enter a swimsuit contest at a
local night club and I won! It was the Venus International Model
Search and I was sent to their International Finals where I had
a chance to meet some really great people in the modeling business.
And well, the rest is history . . .
My favorite things :
Let's see, I have 2 cats, Whitney and Brandy. I love reading, working
and playing with kids, cooking, shopping, chocolate with crunchies,
pizza, donuts, chocolate cake, mashed potatoes with gravy, and steak.
Of course, to make up for all of that food, I work out at least
3 days a week and rollerblade a lot. Oh, and my favorite movie is
Greased Lightning.
Goofy things I do: Well, I like to wear my baseball cap backwards
and I tend to twirl my hair a lot. I whistle in the shower, too.
And for some reason, I always have to keep one foot off of the bed
when I'm sleeping.
My firsts: My First Car was a black '89 Ford Escort GT with hot
pink stripes down the side. I loved that car! My first Job was as
a waitress at Golda's (A 50's restaurant back home. It was a really
fun summer hang out. (I met lots of cute guys there.) My first drink
was a wine cooler I had at my boyfriend's prom; I was in the 10th
grade. My first boyfriend was Dan (we went out for 4 years). My
first kiss was with Dan too. I was 15 and we were at a high school
Valentine's Day dance. That's all you're getting out of me for firsts,
hehe.
Ok, I might as well answer the big question: My dream date is a
tall, dark, handsome, blue eyed man with a bubble butt who will
whisk me away to paris in a hot air balloon to wine me, dine me
and . . .
